Design the right thing.
Discover
Seek to understand the problem or challenge by researching and gathering information. This phase involves empathy, user research, and exploration to identify insights and opportunities.
Define
Define the problem based on the insights gained. This phase involves synthesising information, identifying patterns, and framing the design challenge in a way that guides the subsequent creative process.
Explore
Generate a wide range of ideas and potential solutions. This phase emphasises divergent thinking and encourages creativity. It involves brainstorming, prototyping, and experimenting with different concepts.
Deliver
Single–step solution
Refine and narrow down the ideas generated in the previous phase and creating a tangible solution, by applying the single–step solution approach.Finally incorporate testing, iterating, and finalizing the design to deliver a well–thought–out and effective solution.
